New construction of the midsole and outsole allows the shoe to easily adapt to the ground, improving stride stability.
More Release Grooves in the midsole promotes greater adaptability on rough terrain.
The TrailTack rubber outsole provides more grip on dry and wet conditions.

Flexible protection

New Ballistic Rock Shield technology protects the foot from stones and debris while adapting more easily to uneven terrain.
Ballistic Rock Shield technology now includes vertical grooves for lateral adaptability.
The gaiter tongue on the heels secures the gaiters for extra protection on the trails.

Soft cushioning

Our new DNA LOFT v2 midsole makes the Cascadia 16's cushioning 5% softer and 20% lighter than that of the Cascadia 15.
The DNA LOFT v2 midsole is super soft, yet durable.
The extra 2mm of cushioning adds softness.
Drainage holes allow water to escape quickly so nothing weighs you down.
